Dementia Support & Advice
- Admiral Nurse Service
Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who give much-needed practical and emotional support to family carers, as well as the person with dementia. Rutland’s first Admiral Nurse, Angela Moore, has been appointed by Rutland County Council, in partnership with Dementia UK.

The Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline is for anyone with a question or concern about dementia.

Our Dementia Support service offers support for those living with dementia and their carers and actively promotes the wellbeing of those living with dementia through one-to-one support and group activities.
- Rutland Reminders
Rutland Reminders is a local group of dedicated volunteers – we formed in 2010 for people with dementia and their carers, meeting monthly to sing well-loved songs and chat over tea
